Established in 1998 with the purchase of 8 exceptional heifers from France along with the purchase of Pelletstown Lucy and Roscrea Champion costing €10,000. Our herd now comprises of approximately 100 animals.

Top price at Roscreas Premier Limousin Show went to BAILEYS ELderado jointly owned by the Davis brothers, Castlebrock, Ballinalee and John Hourigan, Knockandaragh, Donard, Co Wicklow.

By the highly prized Queenshead Altea and out of the successful dam, BAILEYS Aubergine he combines Grahams Samson and Greensons Gigolo in his pedigree.



Further top class heifers were purchased from both Redpath and Woodhouse herds including;

Bulls are sold annually at Roscrea and other Limousin Society Sales.

Greensons Gigilo have sold as much as €740 each. His mother is by Ronick Iceman who is a half brother to the famous Broadmeadows Cannon.

Queenshead Alteas semen is eligible for worldwide export. We have 8000 straws stored in England and Ireland and is for sale for 50 euro a straw.

Baileys pedigree Limousin Herd is tested annually for BVD. The herd is also tested for Johnes and was clear in April 2009. Calves are vaccinated with Bovipast and weanlings with Risproval 3.
